You’ll learn the basic rhythm, tucks, underarm turns, single and double turns and more! We will also work on improving your “lead and follow” dance skills, connection, and musicality. If you have dance shoes, great; if not, any shoe with a low heel that is secure on your foot and that slides along the floor will work. If you have dance shoes, great; if not, any shoe with a low heel that is secure on your foot and that slides along the floor will work. Line dancing is a fun way to do it all and relieve your stress at the same time. This beginner’s class will show you how it’s done, step-by-step. You’ll learn the most popular line dances along with the classics, focusing mostly on country. Precise and patient instruction will be supplemented with a step sheet for every dance. Bring water and dance like no one is watching! 10 Tuesdays • 6 - 7pm • Feb. 26 - May 7 • $99 (No class April 16) DA05-S19 Instructor: Mary Dragon Line Dancing II Take your basic line dancing skills to another level with popular, but slightly harder line dances. This session is geared towards higher level beginners and intermediates with the teaching pace being faster than Line Dancing I. A challenge dance will also be taught. Students must be familiar with most line dance terms.
