48 Furniture Painting Basics Do you have a well-loved piece of furniture that needs an update? Recently remodeled and your existing furniture isn’t quite right? Picked up a gem that needs a makeover? Furniture Painting is an incredible way to solve any of these issues and is a wonderfully rewarding hobby that offers tangible benefits you can enjoy for years to come! Not only will you transform your home (or someone else’s), you will gain the deep satisfaction of taking an undesirable item and turning it into a work of art. You will learn the basics of prep work, proper painting, and caring for your updated furniture. We’ll use sample boards to experiment with a few techniques to let you discover your creativity and get more comfortable with painting, then you will test out your new skills on a small project. No prior experience is necessary, please don’t wear your favorite clothes, it could get messy!
